News and Stories by Nino Severino
What a fantastic partnership we have created between SportUSA and The Hub Sport. This alignment of both our teams has already had a great impact with both groups of athletes across SportUSA and The Hub.
Our approach has been delivered seamlessly, with all SportUSA athletes attending a detailed programme assessment. This process ensures that we clearly identify the elements that are currently included in the programmes, but more importantly the areas that are not.
Because the athletes are situated over a wide geography, most of the work with the athletes is on a remote basis. This approach still works incredibly effectively and ensures that The Hub Team and the SportUSA athletes builds a very strong relationship.
The support The Hub Team offers to the athletes ensures that the overall support from SportUSA is incredibly comprehensive. We also ensure that the support that is offered includes the parents in sport, as well as the coaches. At the Hub, we know that the synergy between athlete, coach and parent is vital. We call them the ‘Sporting Trilogy’. It’s important that coaches and parents as well as athletes receive valuable information and resources, that supports their vital role within the athlete’s journey.
